Next Mod?

Ok. So I pooped my cherry 1 month ago by getting my Bimmer and joining this forum. I have a JB3, DCI, spoiler , lip. What can I get next performance wise to add HP that wont cost me a arm and leg? Any suggestions to this newby would be great.

i suggest either getting an FMIC before dps because dps without a fmic is a lil risky (but people have done it) or you could get both at the same time hehehe.

But Forged DV's help or swoops scoops, charge pipe, muffler delete,CDV,boost gauge ........ all should be $400 and under.

+1 Get an intercooler. Easy to install and its good for your car. DPs then exhaust next.

IC, then suspension! DP can go in much later, for warranty reasons

Suspension will allow you to go fast in curves, not just fast on a straightline!

ic before downpipe. Sure if you get dp youll make more power..but you won't be able to make it consistently.

i just leave the IC on. my reasoning is something that is helping to cool an already hot engine is going to hurt. plus i had the dealership install it too for some extra security

like he said. you always can get a turbo hit when you have run out of your warranty which will have dp included anyway. I dnot see the huge different without the aftermarket dp on street, if you track a lot other wise.

Get rid of your OEM RFTs and replace them with some Alufergen's, or light weight wheels and non RFT tires.

Xi's are heavy as it is...
