Steering deflection on bad roads?
When I hit a rut or crack in the road while in a curve my steering wheel deflects. It's a momentarily uncontolled feeling.. Any one know what causes this: soft bushings, upper shock mounts...? I have the stock sport supension with Koni FSD's and 19" Alufelgen CSL reps with PS2's.

What you are describing sounds like bump steer. I would recommend getting an alignment and adjusting your camber to maximum factory allowable and adjust your toe-in as well. -Matt |

Will give that a try Matt. Just don't want to lose too much straight line stability. I was just mentioning my mods; I don't think this has anything to do with the wheels/tires.

It sucks. The roads really suck up here. Gonna try changing alignment settings. Just thought I might be able to minimize or eliminate that with different bushings. Don't even know where I could get different shock mounts. And even then, I'm sure there'd be tradeoffs..
