must return car with run flats?

would you guys happen to know if you leased a 335 with run flats, you MUST return the car with run flats?

anyone know what the tread amount have to be for the return ?

Less than 1/8-inch (3-mm) tread depth from the lowest depth not on the wear bar, as measured by the BMW Inspection Wheel.

My CA confirmed that the car MUST be returned with the RF tires. Since there is no jack in the car and it is considered a standard feature of this model. In fact, BMW has a list of approved tires which it will accept for lease turn in. I guess that prevents someone from thowing on a cheap set of off brand tires before turn in.

yeap... i had a leased 328 before... had to return it with run flats.

It is not a "MUST" but if you dont have rft, they will make you pay a penalty which basically means you will pay the dealer cost to install and mount rft.
