Fading Pixels in Radio Display

So I know this is a common issue, but I'll describe mine anyways. When cold, there is no problem, radio display looks great. When warm, the pixels at the top of the display start to fade out. The hotter is it, the worse the fading is and fading gets lower when it's warmer.

I know you can replace the display, but how long will it last before it starts to happen again?

No I'm not wearing polarized glasses.

What mine looks like (not my picture):

I guess you should ask yourself how long it took to get that way in the first place.

I don't know, I bought the car used a couple months ago and it's always had this issue. Although it seems to be getting progressively worse.
