JL 600/6 or 600/6v2?

I found someone selling the JL 600/6 amp used. The thing is its not the 600/6v2. I've looked at the specifications between both and there seems to be no difference except for the v2's having Input Voltage Range @ RCA Inputs Switchable from 200 mV - 2 V RMS (Low) to 800 mV - 8 V RMS (High) and the
600/6 only Input Voltage Range @ RCA Inputs 100 mV - 4 V RMS

I'm planning on putting in the Focal IFBMWS speakers in. Does this matter in any way? Should I buy the 600/6 ?

Here are both 600/6 specification sheets just in case.

Not what you asked about but - careful with the Focals, I went on their web site a few days ago and the e92 isn't listed as compatible; plus some dude was raging about receiving his and not being able to install it in his e92. I'd check what other buyers have had to go through to mount theirs in E92, the fact that e90 install is ok might make you think it's a good choice for the e92 when it's not.

The v's have signal sensing for turn on as an option

If you are using the turn on signal from the Technic harness
you don't need that feature. I think I would actually prefer
the physical turn on signal.(which is what i have)
You can download the amp manuals at the JL site.

Thanks. I bought the amp lol. Hopefully it was a good purchase. Now looking for compatible speakers for my E92.

It literally only seems like the Focal K2 Power 100KRS speakers fit unless you decide to do one of the complete upgrades from Bavsound or something.

Any speaker recommendations for the E92???

I can't say enough good things about the Jehnerts.

Not cheap but they have the best under seat you can buy.
I would get a Jehnert Flatline kit from Unexpected Creations.

I would ask them what else they recommend if you talk to them.

There are a few listed under Kaigoss69's speaker reference thread:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=343673

In the 4" component speakers, look for e92/e93=Y. Those should be drop-in replacements. The other thing to do is take the time to search through previous installs, I'm sure I read through a few success stories using good speakers and a little tweaking.
