My New Car with Pics!!

Hi Folks,

Ive been a long time lurker on here but have eventually joined the club and purchased an E90!! Not had chance to take any proper pics yet so the two below are quick ones I snapped when the car was still at the dealers.

Its a 325D M Sport Auto on an 09 reg in Titanium Silver with black Dakota leather, bluetooth, heated seats, electric folding mirrors and sun protection glass. Got a reasonable discount on the screen price and what I wanted for my part ex.

Todays been my first full day with the car and despite the miserable weather, me and the other half decided to go for a run to the Lake District. Left the M6 at Jct 36, took the A591 to Windemere before heading down Kirkstone Pass (carefully!!) and along the side of Ulswater before jumpin back on the M6 at Jct 40 and heading home after a pub lunch.

The car was a dream on the smooth twisty roads down Kirkstone Pass and along the side of Ulswater and although one mistake would have meant a watery grave at the bottom of Ulswater.. the car gave me the confidence to do a bit of safe but spirited driving in Sport mode on the Auto box.

Loving the car and the only negative so far are the terrible run flat tyres that sometimes make it feel like BMW have fitted it with bicycle wheels..

Agreed; in fact I think I now prefer the whole shape of the LCI E90 to the E92 shape now....and I would never have entertained that thought pre-LCI.

The small detail changes have hugely improved the E90 in M-Sport guise.
