HELP with yellow ABS/DSC light
Hi guys I have searched old posts but didn't find a definite answer. A week ago I have a brake fluid service light up and yesterday got this yellow abs/dsc come on after I turned on the ignition. Tried restarting the car but didn't cure the problem. Further I have checked the brake fluid level and tire pressure and they're all seem fine. Now I lose my abs and dsc and the DTC button doesn't function either. Will the brake fluid service reminder trigger this error? I'm bit reluctant to bring it to the dealer since I got my KW coilover installed 3 mths ago they may just attribute the fault to the aftermarket suspension. Can the dealer void my abs/dsc warranty because of my coilover? I would have thought if my coilover would cause this error it will trigger right away not 3 mths later. Car is less than 2 yrs old with only 13xxxkm. Any help is appreciated.

The brake fluid warning will have nothing to do with the ABS/DSC lights you are getting. You will need to somehow find out what the ABS code(s) is to know what the issue is. The dealer should not give you a problem with having the coilovers because they have nothing to do with the ABS. They would have to prove that the issue was the coilovers.

Read through it, but this is what the dealer did: "The repair description says " Reset steering Angle Sensor per DIS tester". I was told all the hardware was fine and they reloaded the software and re-calibrated all the sensors. The steering wheel angle sensor had lost track of the steering position, it was cleared in the secondary memory by a hard reset like I experienced. Now the primary memory has been re-flashed and the car should be good to go"
