What is the ballpark price for having all windows tinted. I'm looking to get mine tinted at 20% in back mayeb 30-35% in front. What should I expect to pay?

I got 20% on mine yesterday and paid $220.

Very sharp looking mdemange. That's about exactly the shade of tint I want, and the shop that will be doing uses Madico Charcoal too. Any problems or complaints with Madico?

Here are the pics again.

35% 3M all around. The windshield isn't done yet but I'm thinking of having it done at 50%.
Pictures were taken late in the evening, so they will appear darker than they are. I'll try to take some during the day when I get a chance.

What percent tint goes the best with Sparkling Graphite? Also, any good tint shops in the So Cal area? Thanks.

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of a black e90 with beige interior and tint? If so could you kindly post a pic, with % tint and brand of tint.

I am not sure to go with 35% or 20% as I've been told that you can hardly notice the 35% tint when you have beige interior and the shade of tint is important...

Also, did you go for metallic or non metallic.

Maybe I can revive this thread. What is the VLT limit in California? I think legally you can't have any tint on the front windows, right?

Also, anyone have a good shop to recommend in San Diego?

Just had mine tinted with Huper Optik 30. Great tint! Drastically cuts down heat build up in the car. Looks sharp!! Will post pics soon.

So apparently anything more less than 88% VLT is illegal in CA. So basically you might as well get 15% or something because even 50% is going to get you a fix-it ticket if they make a stink of it.

Tinting helps integrate the black window trim between the doors as one, pretty cool!

Dude, what color is your car? Gray, dark blue, purple, black?
Look at your pictures and see what colors you see. That's what I like about SG.

After seeing all these bello tinted cars, i've decided on tinta my macchina, probably a light 50%~35% all around. I'd like to thank everyone who posted their cars on this thread, most helpful in the deciding factor. Gratzie Mille Tutti Persone!

That's why I went with SG and it's easier to keep clean than black.

My Harley is Cobalt Blue which looks purple and blue (depending on the light), but black at night.

I'm going to go with 35% (state legal limit) 3m (recomemded by my dealer) all around and 50% on the front windshiel to cut down glare.
