Does anyone know if 335 with JB3 map 3 is faster than stock mazdaspeed 3? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have followed a couple times after the speed 3 and when it pulls, seems fast and dunno if the driver stepped down the gas pedal. Even I downshift 2 gears to rev up and hold half of the gas pedal and the speed 3 is getting away from me..

anyone has experience with it?

why half throttle? Do full throttle and let us know how many bus length u pulled!!

go full throttle..you should be able to pull from it.....mazdaspeed 3 does about 14 sec 1/4 mile stock....and i don't think that there is much after market support for them just yet...they will make good sleepers since most ppls don't even know that they are turbocharged...

well, it all depends on the location whether I pass him or not.. But in some case, I perfer to follow them, give them some stress, dig the potential they have, then...lol

When I was stock I raced a speed 3 from 40 to 130 and he won, I was so pissed cause this guy worked with me and I know they were going to talk about this so, next week i bought the jb3 and when we raced I pulled far away from him. So yes this speed 3 makes 14.1 stock on quarter miles but they dont have any traction but when it is rolled they pull very hard.

I ran with a speed3 for a good hour up a mountain road with some good straights and not once did he pull on my stock 335. I'm not sure what's wrong with u guys who are losing to these cars.

No way it will pull on 335. Could be really close but thats about it.
OP may be speed 3 was modded. Also, isnt xi are much slower on a go then i? That could very well be the case for you.

why would you even post something like this?

why downshift two gears and only go half gas? lol, you should of not downshifted at all and put the pedal to the metal and you'll still walk on him.
