You should try some salvage yards. Be ready for an intense DIY install.

Going OEM will cost a fortune and be very intense as stated.

I have a Pioneer AVIC z3 with the bluetooth phone and mic add-on and the IPOD integration cable. It is already bypassed for video in motion so you can watch movies and make nav changes while driving. It is fully blue tooth voice command oriented as well.

Id take 850 shipped for everything.

ebay always has some. try ebay germany as well. runs about $1200 in the US though used.

you are actually better off either going with a z3 or trading it in for one with nav.

gl, i was quoted 2900 with new bmw parts. thats minus the installation costs, going with a new deck soon! much rather have a touchscreen, thinking of actually retrofitting a new 7" carpc with the i-drive equipped dash screen, would like to mount a touch lcd to the rear of the shifter for mouse operation. if anyone wants to combine some ideas, shoot me a pm.

That's my current project. Only problem is where to mount the screen - since you have to run the cables cleanly. Best way I found is with the Cuda bracket - but still need to do something about the VGA cable, since it won't fit into the dash...
