*******.com/Vista HID Fog Light install e92 335i

The Kit

The Car - 2008 e92 335i

The old bulbs

Driver Side - Remove two Bolts (8mm socket)

Pull back the inner liner and disconnect the old bulb and pull it out.

This step is not necessary; however, it cleans things up in the bumper. pull the oem plug to ballast wire out of the rubber gasket then gut the rubber gasket off of the bulb wires. Be careful not to cut any wires.

This wire will connect your oem plug to the hid ballast. I was out of stock on the male h8 connector; however, i will install it on the car when they come in on Wednesday.

Now grab your bulb and install it the same way you install any other bulb plug and twist, remembering not to touch the bulb with your hand.

Now from that bulb this is what you should have left.

Now screw the mount into the *******.com/Vista Ballast using the little screw and mount supplied with the kit.

Pull the wire mount out of this hole and this is your anchor point.

Connect Bulb to Ballast

Electrical taped until my h8 male connectors come in on Wednesday.

This is the other option, remove the H8 Plug and install a 9006 Plug.. Not recommended for new installers. This is what they do when you install a M-Tech body kit. All the new kits will come with the h8 male plug installed.

Driver Side installed

Comparison Photos before I installed the passenger HID bulb.

This is the photo of both lights.

Me standing in front of the GP Thunder 8500.

Me standing in front of the *******.com/Vista 6000k HID Kit

Ok on the Passenger side i am going to breeze throught and only hit on key points different on the passanger side because of the oil cooler.

Remove Bolts

Pull this grill out because it is not very flexable - unbolt 4 bolts

Take out old bulb and install new bulb

Unscrew the lower outer oil cooler bolt and mount ballast with the existing bolt.

Bolt everything back together and this is how it looks.

4300k vs 6000k , if you're wondering i have afew pictures of *******'s 6000k lowbeams+6000k fogs next to a 335i with OEM 4300k+nokya 7000k halogen bulbs

it is a pretty significant difference between 4300k and 6000k. If you would like it to match going with 4300k or 5000k fogs is definitely the way to go

Yeah, looks like a complete kit and very install-friendly with regard to mounting the ballasts. I take it the modules included with this kit also suppress the bulb warning light?

I'd like this kit with a 3000k HID capsule option... is this available?

So, don't these blind oncoming cars? Do the fogs have a cutoff like the headlights?

Depends on the year of the car. 07 335 sedans are problematic. Where did you get your kit from?
