Thanks mate...I edited the first pics...gave them a bit of HDR look. Some people wanted the normal unedited pics so i posted them on the 2nd page. The pics of the 2nd page make it look like the AW as the metallic dont show up there.

I can see. There is a nice metallic bloom to the highlights which you can see in the striplight being reflected (primarily in the top coat) in the front bumper.

Are the metallic chips flat or slightly tinted in colour ? Tiny hint of blue ?

I've played around quite a bit getting realistic paint textures

White is difficult to photo, and render, as you are at the extreme end of your exposure limit. Too much, wash out - too little, looks dark.

D.

I think you will see the metallic nature of the beast a lot better in real life or under natural sunlight - there are quite a few US threads and I have pinched a few pics to give an idea of what it is like close up....

Wafik,

Loving the metallic white. Not sure about the frozen grey though, but without seeing it in the metal it's difficult to judge. Enjoy your car

The power of an Internet forum eh? Years ago BMW would have ended up losing a customer for good.
Be good to have a unique car too! I'm surprised the number swop is taking so long, I did mine in a couple of minutes at the local DVLA office and before when i did it through the post it was back with me the day after.

yeah i know, without this forum i dont know what i would have done! infact, it was because of the forum i ended up buying the 335i...

The plate transfer is out of my hands, the dealer has sent it but its taking time...i really hope its done soon. I think its taking longer because its being removed from the old car to the new one maybe? As it didnt take that long at all when i first bought the plate and had the dealer put it on the 335i. They said i need to be insured to get the plate done...which was strange because you kind of need the plate on to get insured But insurance said they are aware of this and its like going round in circles...but they done the insurance...i hoped to pick it up this friday, but wont happen. I hope early next week? postal strike isn't helping either!

Is this white a bit like the pearlescent white that Audi have traditionally done...but whiter

Good to hear that Sytner have come up trumps for you, I've bought several cars from them in he past. But having had two dreadful experiences, I'm banned (by my wife) from going anywhere near them.

Hope all goes well with the M3
