im curious about this intake as well. anyone know approx how much do you gain?
if anyone has this, do you feel the gains? or some power?

my feeling is that you end up paying for the sound....even though vendors have their hp/tq ratings, I really don't think you'll end up noticing a 10 - 12 hp gain recorded at the crank.

Yo yes I do have this intake.

From what I remember the Gruppe-M intake was the only intake to have dyno-ed at least a 1-2hp gain. Well this way before the injen came out. The most noticeable difference between this intake and others is the fact that the area directly under the filter is exposed while the rest of the intake is enclosed. This allows air from your brake duct to shimmy up into the filter similar to a dinan setup except without the ram tube.

This intake is loud, I mean really loud. It booms after 2.8k and sounds like a jet taking off. its got an extremely noticeable air 'sucking' sound if youre into that. Compared this to an Simota v1 and v2, and an injen so far. GruppeM is definitely Louder hands down.

IMO it looks better too, but meh i've never been into dressing up the engine bay.

lol to be honest, your intake isnt loud at all. my afe is louder than your intake. i would wanna which is louder though, afe or gruppe m lol... so im guessing this intake only gives you 1-2hp? guess i'll just stick with my afe... loud and.... just loud...

Its an intake. Its not going to give you crazy gains. I'm pretty sure the gruppe-m is louder

whats the sound diffrence in sound for a gruppe M (original) and the rep?

Also what is the price diffrence and what a good vendor?

.... a friend of mine has a original gruppe M on his e46 325ci and its sounds BEAST.

gruppe m sounds loud and aggressive.. you will enjoy the sound and 'feel' fast..

I feel the gain on the gruppe m is more than the other intakes.. even the bmw performance intake.
