Its pretty impressive that you can change the colour of the whole car in this way.........I am getting old

Its a bit of both yes, but a colleague of mine had a wrap put on his van, when he traded it the lifted the wrap and took the clearcoat with it.

How resilient is the wrap to stone chips etc?

My wife is so gonna divorce me when i tell her i want another E92 and wanna wrap it.

Looks very nice very nice indeed, but i am sure it removes the clear coat after removing, plus where is the fun of polishing/waxing on a nice warm sunday - metallic paint all the way for me

had much experience of applying and removing vinyl wraps?

Why not just buy a car in the colour you want, why buy a black car if you wanted white or am I missing something ??

Yes I think you are.

Too live with a white car permantly for X amount of years will be tiresome.

TO add little flavour to your car and for a reasonable amount you can change the colour of your car to suit. It can be reversed rather quickly too.
