E92 | Style 189 Wheels | 12mm Spacers

My first official mod to my car and still have the temporary tags!

OEM Style 189 Wheels, Sport suspension, BMS 12mm spacers.

My goal here was to get the wheels out just enough to clear the fender and have zero rubbing. I have achieved that. Another 3mm may have been perfect but I am content for now.

If it ever stops raining here I will wash the car and get some more pictures.

Before and After...

Smart by sticking to 12mm at the rear. I just swapped to Michelin PSS tires with 15mm spacers and I'm getting some rubbing in dips at high speeds. Supposedly this is normal since the width of the PSS is a bit wider than most tires with the same spec. I had Conti DW's before and rubbing wasn't an issue. Time for a fender roll I guess.

Thanks guys! Once I get a drop it will obviously look a lot nicer. Tint will be next and some black kidneys. I need to get used to car payments again, its been 10 years without, before I start dropping serious dollars for mods.

One thing I've notice is that the gap is more evident now with the wheel and tire being farther out. Prior to the installation of the spacers the tire was hidden in the shadow of the fender well. Now it's out of the shadow which makes the gap look greater.
