Has anyone got any advice on how to reach into the corners of the E90 4 door saloon rear window. Unless you have arms that are really thin four feet long with hands the size of a 6 monh old child it's fecking impossible. It really pisses me of looking in the rearview mirror and seeing dirty marks on the window, yeah I know it's sad

Fold the rear seats forward, then get in so that your legs are in the boot and you're facing the rear screen?

Don't think my seat folds, could be wrong though

ha i was TRYING to do this the other day on my coupe, well difficult, thought i had it all done until i started driving, still some smudge/swirl marks about. prehaps if we ring BMW CS may be able to help !

You'll soon know if they do..........there's a L/H & R/H lever to pull in the top of the boot. Simple to do on the E92, otherwise.........brace yourself:

Remove rear head rests, straddle the rear seats legs apart, with hips and bottom low down, sucking in stomach muscles for a bit of exercise then contort your arms accordingly...........works a treat.

Anyway no levers in the boot so it looks like grab a kid off the street

The chimney is being saved for later, if they do it first it leaves helluva soot marks on the interior

Consider something along the lines of a feather duster for the hard to reach places. In other words, some sort of soft cloth with a long arm.

Valeters use something called a slammer or a big foot:

Wrap a large soft cloth around it and so you can keep hold of it with the handle and rub to your hearts content.
