blaupunkt tha 555, hooking up to the battery? E90

hey guys, i have a e90.

i recieved my tha 555 a few days ago, and noticed they forgot to send me the adapter. so it should recieve in the next week.

anyway, if i want to hook it up then. would i need to connect it direclty yo the battery?

since im using the HU and the extension cable seems to have a power cord connection, wich goes direclty from the adapter from the stereo to the amp.

do i need to hook it up to the battery then? or is it enough to plug it in to the adapter? (if there is one, on the adapter)

what would you suggest? on the forum i have seen people connecting it direclty to the battery, but if it is possible, or if anyone did it. shoudl i do i to? to make the whole thing easier?

please help me out ^^

It should be connected directly to the battery.

check out the white power cable. no way to just connect it to the blaupunkt cables?

if its not for connecting, why is it there? lol, getting frustrated, just want the adapter.

You can use the adapter for the audio wires but should run new, thicker wires for +12V and ground, both the same size. The +12V directly to the battery with a fuse (40A I think) not more than 30cms far from the battery.

Forget about feeding the amp with the adapter, you won't get all of the amp if you do that.

That's okay, you won't harm anything but won't get its potential until hooking it directly to the battery (remember the fuse)
