+1 for Long

and regarding the intake and the dealer: it depends on your SA, your tech, and your dealer.

Since we don't live in a very rainy area (i.e. SoCal), they might not bug you so much for having an intake like the STETT one.
However, if they want to, they obviously can...
It WILL, like ANY other aftermarket part, void the warranty on that area (which is obvious..)
But overall, I think you should speak with your SA regarding the intake...

I am still interested. Will talk with my SA. Have worked with him for 2 years and he will giive me the straight shot.

I have driven in a car wth the stett and BOV at Dinan event at San Diego BMW. I liked the turbo whineyou could hear and the CAI felt cool to the touch after a couple hard accelerations so felt like col air was getting there.

How far is el monte from SD? I would not be abble to install...not handy.

it's probably about an hour & a half drive..& yes, the stett cai sounds great & feels even better! it's a great intake

the zip in el monte is 91733
