Aero lip over clear bra??? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hey everyone. I recently had the clear bra installed on my entire front end including lights. Anyways, now I want to have the front aero lip installed. Does it just stick right on with adhesive backing? If so, will I have to remove the clear bra first?? That would su@k since I just had the clear bra installed. I know I should've thought about it before....but it is what it is at this point. So, can the lip stick on over the clear bra? Thanks.

My front bumper was already clear bra'd when I purchased the car and just recently added the aero lip...it's fine! Whether you use adhesive or 3m it will stick. I had my lip clear bra'd too. It's been on the car no more the a week so you're all good to go! Install and enjoy!

Thank you! If I had to remove the bra first, I may have just passed on the aero lip. So thanks for the tip

I had an aero lip on mine for a year over the clear bra with now issues - just clean the areas with alcohol where the 3M tape needs to stick and you should have no issues, if you ever take it off, you will just need to be extra careful that you don't pull up the clear bra though.

I am pretty sure the aero lip attaches with 3m tape...I was also wondering if putting the aero lip over the clear bra will mess it up. I am looking to get my car clear bra'd ASAP, but prob. wont get the aero lip for another few months.

Put it on right over it, no issues at all.

Thanks for the 2nd confirmation that this will work fine. Now, all I need to do is find someone in Socal that has the aero lip painted in SBM.

What is the going rate for one of these aero lips painted? Thanks.
