Can anyone recommend a good indy in Columbus? I am leaving the E90 club (and therefore my free maintanence) and joining the E39 club (sorry, guys). So I'm gonna need a mechanic that knows what he's doing but doesnt charge stealership prices. Is there anyone in Columbus?

I will be getting my oil changed here in about 500 miles so I'll let you know what I thought of the place. They seemed pretty knowledgeable when I talked to them on the phone.

That was quick! Thanks a lot. I had a place called Finishline my previous Audi S4 and did a shitty job. Upon close inspection I saw they cut part of my rubber window beeding and after about 3 months the vinyl started bubbling.

Is this guy's work good?

Yeah, I wouldn't trust Finishline with my Bimmer for anything. This guy is pretty meticulous and does a great job. His forte is window tinting and installing the Ventureshield Clear Bra (he is the premiere installer for those two things in the NE Ohio area). But, he also installed a glossy black vinyl roof on my car and it turned out great. He did it 7 months ago in winter and it still looks great on my car.

If you decide to do this, PM me what he says, since I told him I want to do this on my car as well. Maybe he can give us a discount if we do it on the same day or buy the vinyl together.

They wouldn't just put a stitch in, they wanted to just get all new leather for the seat. I didn't think it would look right since the other seat has 4 years of wear. Still trying to find the part number for the box to replace the sunglass tray.

I would look for a good upholsterer and get it fixed there.

Hmm I will think about taking it to an upholsterer. That part looks like the sunglass tray which is what I have in there. The problem is that the sunglass tray uses the wood trim lid from the ash tray which we cracked when trying to remove it. I'm looking to just replace my sunglass holder with the open box w/o a lid seen on the 2010s but can't find a part #.
