E90 M3 now lowered

Hi All

Had my car lowered yesterday, a few guys wanted to see a couple of comparison pics, more noticeable in the flesh however (below).

I had the Eibach Pro Kit Sportlines fitted. Mine isn't EDC so it made the fit so much easier. In total it took around 3hrs to fit including lining up.

I got 20mm on the fronts & 15mm on the rears. The rears now fill the arches better and give it an even more aggressive stance.

Not had chance to test it regards handling yet, but the drive home was no different in ride quality, but mine is quite a "hard drive" anyway without having EDC.

Before:

After:

I am now wondering what to do next.

So far I have:

Matt black fronts grills
Matt black side grills
Blackline rear lights
Matt black vinyl roof
Matt black wheels
Remus Race Exhaust
Custom made rear diffuser
BNC Air filter
Eibach pro sportline springs

So any ideas would be great. (Yes Mikey, I know Xpipes and a remap! )

Cheers guys

Marc

Looks noticeably lower in the pics. I like it. Apart from Performance mods, it does not need anything else Kade's Dad!

Marc, looks spot on buddy

Exactly the same stance I aim to achieve I spoke to Teddy at SSDD about these kits a few months ago and this was the very one he recomended back then. He said that the springs are wound progresively so they effectively get siffer the harder you drive. Mine is non EDC also and I do find the stock ride pretty compliant, largely down to the non-RFT's. My old vert was defo a lot harsher than the M3, especially on roads with a poor surface.

How has the insurance viewed the mod? Obviously not just cosmetics now as the handling will change?

Hope to see you on Sunday as would really like a ride in it. Hopefully should have my new rims on by then as well

Hi

Admiral and they have no problems with the mods, costs be about 50.00 on top of my premium for everything I have had done.

Hi,

Cheers Paul

Though I have not had chance to properly try out the cornering all reports are good with both ride and improved handling. We'll see as I am taking to the track in December....

As above regards insurance, Admiral have been great with me.

The new rims will look cool no doubt!

I don't think I'll be able to make Sunday (but you never know)

Marc

Looks smart in the pics, be good to see it on Sunday in the flesh. Looks to me like the front could be made more aggressive now, splitter(s) perhaps?. And maybe some colourful brake calipers.

Yes on the splitters. Go black with them.

Leave the calipers...will throw off a lot of the theme.

Looks like I can't make this Sunday (which is really annoying!)

+1 on the splitter.... managed to source one and getting it custom painted
