How could it be registered on the first of January?

The price sounds low.

I reckon the price is low due to milage being on the high side, make sure it's had all the correct run in services, brakes etc. Decent enough spec though

Its being sold off from a company called accident exchange, they supply premium cars as loaners for people who have had their premium car involved in an accident.

Ive had one car from them in the past, nothing wrong with it and they always follow the service schedule/maintenance.

So it's basically a hire car which has probably been thrashed a bit?

E90 here for similar money - same miles, well spec'd inc EDC, DAB, Bluteeth, etc...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2008-BMW-M3-V8...item2ea95e970f

The one you have found sounds lots of car for the money but I am not sure I would want an ex-hire car. I agree all M3's have had a lot of stick but you do tend to treat your own car a little better than a loaner?

Plenty of warranty left though, and maybe a full detail would make it feel like a new one or dealer supplied?

Blackline it out, tint if not already factory done, put on some black shoes, lower, blackout the grille OMG!

1/ don't get a manual (imho) unless you're a serious manul enthusiast - it's hard work (compared to DCT)
2/ i wouldn't buy a high performance car from a hire company. I had an M3 loaner (manual) from AE in August and it was sh*te to say the least. totally unloved and neglected. i would buy from a main dealer or on trusted recommendation only. cars like this need/deserve TLC and that ain't something you get with a loaner!

mine was the DCT box which was pretty much perfect and made the car so easy to drive. i felt the manual was just hard work...

probably shouldn't turn this into a manual vs auto/semi thread!!

Fair enough... just caught my eye when looking at the current cars. I bet a dealer buys it though and makes a tidy markup
