Arrggg, What Ship? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

On the 800 # my status went from "Awaiting a shipping vessel" yesterday to "In Transit" today....

I checked the website and I cant figure out what ship my car is on, only one ship left Bremerhaven (based on my calculation) today but it is headed to New York (I live in Florida) could this be it? Will they transport my car from New York to Florida on a trailer?

Any info would be great guys, my CA hasnt "figured out" how to tell me ship yet lol

Most of these ships stop several times on the way to Brunswick, GA (which I beleive is the port your car will get offloaded at), so you might have the correct ship afterall. Until your CA tells you, you will not know for sure. I ended up on a K-Line ship that doesn't lend itself to tracking

even though there were a couple of WW ships there at the same time.

Yes but the ship that left today (Morning Corbet) is only scheduled to go to New York, not Brunswick, GA

strange, I was awaiting shipment as of yesterday and my status is unchanged today. I am located in NYC.

I would think our cars would both leave today?

I searched the K-Line Site, Hanjin Chittagong & Ital Oriente leave for Bremerhaven tomorrow (Dec 2), either of those could be it but my status already says "In Transit"

No word from your CA yet to tell you what ship you are on DVDA? I would ask for his boss if he can't figure out how to look it up! I checked out the K-line site and what a messy schedule they have, almost impossible to figure out what ship you might be on.

I also found out from the site that my ship does not go to Brunswick, GA, but only Charleston, SC, where it offloads cars from Bremerhaven and picks up cars from the SC factory to take back to Bremerhaven. So looks like my car should be back on dry land Thurs or Fri. Then if I can't get a slot for Dec at the PCD, it will start the journey to Atlanta to be picked up at the dealership.

ahhhh just re-read your thread.

since i'm picking up in NJ i am awaiting the NY arrival (scheduled 12/10) but the ship just left Halifax, NS today (if you can believe these real-time ship trackers).

so maybe, even though it has been late to Halifax and NYC, they will make up time on the trip down south. isn't the waiting painful???

She arrived in Halifax at 15:58 (Local Time) that would be 14:58 Eastern Time and she departed 22:28 (LT) which is 21:28 Eastern

100% on time, headed to NY

, but how is it 100% on time when it is due to arrive in NYC on 12/10 and it is now 12/11 and yet no arrival?

There lays the problem, on my iterariers the schedule was NYC 12/11 GA 12/14

Not NYC 12/10 and GA 12/13

There was a few ships that left Bremerhaven last week, so you have to find out from you CA what ship it was on

After you do that go to http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ to see where the ship is at
