Hooah!! Powerful speaker!

On the down side, did you see the district he is running in? He has a better chance of winning the lottery than he does winning that congressional seat.

Welfare meaning...the good fortune, health, happiness, prosperity, etc., of a person, group, or organization.

Being an employee of the Govt as a congressman, armed forces, etc. does the Govt not contribute to his well-being or welfare?

The context in which he was saying "welfare" should have been clearly understood

In his context promote welfare = promote the pursuit of life liberty and happiness, good health, etc; not providing welfare meaning = stop making tax payers pay for all the people who think they can just be lazy mofos and not do anything with their lives.

i'm not sure where the welfare talk is coming from. The years of Bill Clinton proved that people want to work. When the economy is rolling, there are less people on public assistant, period. I'm willing to bet that the number of people on public assistant is directly proportional to the economy. People are on public assistant right now because jobs aren't being created.

STUPID AND UNIFORMED STATEMENT. Learn to think.

94% of blacks voted for Kerry
95% voted for Bill Clinton
96% voted for Obama

Apparently John Kerry is just as black as Bill Clinton and Obama. I'm pretty sure that John Edwards would have done just as well had he not has his "transgressions".
McCain just ran a terrible campaign and the numbers prove it. The only group that he won were people over 65 (and he only won that demographic by 10pts).
So instead of regurgitating the ignorance of the people in your circle of influence, you should look at the data and present better arguments.

What were the numbers on blacks showing up to the polls in those respective elections? Just curious.

Black turnout went from 60.3% in 2004 to 65.2% in 2008. The numbers can be found here.

What! Jobs aren't being created! I though that massive stimulus package that had to be passed so fast because we were in such a financial crisis was suppose to create jobs and keep unemployment under 8%. Are you saying that it is not working.

Please see the thread i just created. I think it may be germane to the conversation of job growth.
Although, the stimulus is not producing a net increase in jobs, i do believe that its creating jobs. In short, the number of jobs being lost would probably be a lot larger than if the stimulus had not been passed.
