One thing that i don't get is why this car with a toyota 3.5l v-6 puts out 276hp with assistance of famous Lotus tuning,when any garden variety IS350 with identical engine to the Lotus Evora has 306hp? any ideas?

Good question. Toyota recently never jumped on the BHP bandwagon and the Elise didn't have more power than the Celica GTS. It is funny that the same engine makes more power in another car within the same company. Maybe Lotus will supercharge it like they did with the Elise. I'm still excited to see it though.

saw the evora in person at the LA autoshow last friday. great looking car. looks more comfortable than the elise for sure.
