Wondering what the difference is looks wise between the Aluminum trim and the Glacier Silver in an M sport car. Which looks better, does anyone have pics of both please?

Glacier has a textured cross hatch pattern on it. Aluminum is just your regular brushed aluminum.

This is glacier:

If you go with the grey wood it looks really good (quite a few people have this combo) but if you go with one of the brown woods (which i've seen as well) it doesn't look so great, its all just personal preference I guess....

I have Coral Red with brown wood in my e92. Looks great. The dark wood blends well if you have the M sport package. Otherwise I would get the aluminum.

I have Glacier Silver - comes standard with the M-Sport (in Germany at least). Wood...yuck ! I also like piano black and carbon fiber trims.

Where can you purchase all the BRUSHED ALUMINUM interior parts (to replace the plastic wood grain) as Aftermarket?

Would i abolutely have to purchase them from BMW (OEM)?

Tischer BMW or check in the For Sale section. Some people would like to trade trim for trim.

Garage List
I don't get why some people think the Glacier looks cheap. The 335 tester I had had that trim, and I thought it looked fine. Preferred it over the standard alum trim.

It's all personal taste! You gotta see it in person though.
