Blowout Sale on Koni Sport struts/shocks including FSD's

Koni Sports:

KONI Sport shock absorbers (painted yellow) were developed for sporting drivers by focusing on exceptional road holding and handling properties, combined with an acceptable level of comfort. KONI Sport shock absorbers are also available as part of KONI's Threaded Suspension Kits which feature threaded adjustable lower spring perches (where applicable) and progressive rate lowering springs designed for performance street driving.

FSD's:

Most shock absorbers are designed to offer a firmer ride OR to maximize ride comfort. And complete computerized systems can deliver both comfort and performance, but at too high a price for the average consumer's vehicle.

The KONI FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) shock combines excellent road holding and handing characteristics with no-compromise comfort levels. It's a two-in-one solution from KONI that doesn't require the installation of sophisticated electronics, cables or sensors. Firmness for sporty driving on even road surfaces. Smoothness for a comfortable ride on uneven road surfaces.

It's possible via KONI's patented Frequency Selective Damping technology - technology that actively controls the damping level on the basis of the vehicle's body and suspension movement frequency. FSD shocks are a smart suspension system that adjusts automatically and in a fraction of a second to road conditions and driving style.

Awesome prices! Is it possible for you to dyno the shocks and sell matched sets? I for one would definitely pay a premium for that.

What shocks would you recommend with the H&R Sport springs on a 335i coupe?

The Koni Yellow is a better choice for its valving and adjustment feature.

So I'm going to buy my buddies H&R sport springs from him, 2K miles on them, what shock would you suggest I run with that? the FSD? And keep in mind the roads in my hometown can be crappy in areas...will the ride be super stiff?

Do you like having the option of adjusting your damper settings or you would rather install and drive?

I would prefer install and drive, but I don't necessarily want to sacrifice too much ride comfort if there is a better alternative!

For installed and drive, the FSD's are the way to go. They are on back order until late March to early April, however. The Koni Yellows are in stock.

Can you match the yellows with swift springs, and vorshlag plates? And, can you do E82 fronts and M3 rears? Can you dyno the shocks to make sure they match? What is the difference between the yellows and TCK's S/A?

There is no difference between the E9x 3-series Koni and TCK SA. I can assemble a kit as requested, but it will be complete custom with coilover sleeves front with 65mm instead of 60mm springs because the sleeves takes way some of the needed clearance between the spring and strut body. The Vorshlag plates will need 65mm upper spring perch as well, which I don't stock and will need to order from Vorshlag(3-5 days away).

The rear is unchanged with any damper selection.

We can certainly dyno the dampers at extra charge, but why the extra expense? There are so many criterias for dyno and damper tuning to work - Tire pressure optimized, static and cross weight at optimum, obsolutely no bind in the suspension(this will stop you on the E8x/9x chassis as there are way too many rubber suspension pivot bushings), you are not trying to fix a big handling problem, consistent and sensitive driver to recognized the changes, finally call Koni to see if this is even necessary for what you will do doing with your car.

Which do you recommend for Tein S-Techs, the drop is between H&R Sport & Race.
