Leather Stain

Anyone with light leather out there...beige or lemon...
How do you get rid of stains?

I have a grey stain on my leather, it's about the size of a nickel. It's right by where the back seat joins the headliner, between the headrest and the headliner...but it drives me nuts...everytime I see it.

I don't know where it came from, the only poeple that have been there are the window tint people!

I've tried BMW leather cleaner, Leather shoe cleaner, and a concerntrated apolstry cleaner. I don't want to damage the leather, but how the hell do I get a stain out of my light leather...

Thanks :-)

Someone out there has the answer...i just know it!

Have you tried Lexol leather cleaner? That might work, Good Luck!

Thanks...I don't know if we can get lexol here. Any other solutions?

I am going to try Raduim - it's a shoe polish and leather shoe spot remover. It basically removes spots and scuffs from leather shoes. It's very potent, so I will proceed with absolute caution...

I actually have several brand leather cleaners. I've got Meguiar's, Zymol, Black Magic, and Mother's. They all seem to work just fine when getting stains out. The best part about Meguiar's and Black Magic is the fact that the conditioner is non-greasy.

I tend to prefer Lexol.
I do know a guy who swears by a product called Leatherique. Both the Jaguar and Lotus clubs promote it;
http://www.leatherique.com/

Take a look. Hopefully you can get something good down there.

Hate to sound like a Zaino disciple, but I switched from lexol to Z b/c the lexol made the interior smell like a barn tack room. The Z leather conditioner rubs in like suntan lotion on Pam Anderson...quite an experience...

If no cleaner works, try http://www.colorplus.com

I've seen (tho haven't personally worked) this product and the results were nothing short of amazing. Perfect color match and a small repair may be in your future if you can't get it clean.
