My new Baby Blue 335
I picked up my e92 335i on saturday. i drove up to the dealership with my heart pounding. i saw my car was parked right in front and my heart stopped. stunning first impression. i really was in a state of shock and awe. every time i sit in the "cockpit" i feel humbled. i recieved this car as a graduation/college acceptance/birthday gift (and probably a christmas gift) from my parents who haven't really spoiled me my whole life until now. i got a job over the summer so i could help pay for the car. im only contributing $2000 to the payment. now that ive put on a few miles, i kinda feel that i don't deserve this car. i almost feel guilty driving it. im just learning stick but catching on quickly.

I love montego. If I get a 335i that will hopefully be the color I get. Get some tint too.
Being spoiled feels nice, doesn't it? I bet that guilt melts away when you push the throttle. |

Congrats on the car! I told my son if he got accepted into Wharton he can take my car.
Montego is awesome, you'll learn stick soon enough. *TIP: drive with only socks on and on a flat surface knock it into first gear and you'll learn exactly how the clutch travel goes (letting it in and out slowly with no gas applied) |

Congrats on your new car. You have the exact car that I think i'm going to order (montego, CA, black leatherette, 6 MT). I need to see that color in person and I think i'll be sold.

Holy fuck. I graduated from college and got a brand new student loan payment and a "congratulations son, I knew you could do it. Got a job lined up yet?"
Good thing you opted for the high school diploma. If you had gotten a GED you probably would've only gotten a new Jetta or something. Just giving you shit, man. Congrats on the new car, enjoy and take care of it. |

and as a side note- i talked to a guy at the dealer that works closely with the techs and asked him about the break in period. he said that the break in is really only for the M cars. so i was driving with my dad shortly after and he told me to punch it and i almost red lined it a few times. but from here on til 1200 miles i plan on keeping the rpms pretty low. i love this car. my girfriend said it actually turned her on when she saw it. |

just make sure you do a few really nice things for your parents in return.
... graduating college (with honors, preferably) would be a great start. Enjoy your car, you're going to love it.

Montego Blue is so hot and those pics really show the color well.
Question, does your car still have that new leather smell when you order the leatherette? I've always wondered that. |

Beautiful car and enjoy it, I would order Montego blue too.
But is that gray or black leatherette. For some reason, it looks gray in the picture.
