Well, I basically went to my mailbox Friday afternoon and found an invitation from BMW to this thing. Called the number and registered for a time slot. Maybe BMW just picks some ppl at random every year to attend?? The last time I went was about 8 years ago when the E46 was new.

That was my first one (the E46 launch). Since then, I've attended the X5 launch, X3 launch and then the recent E92 launch (which is not a full fledge UDE).

So do you know if its a local area dealer thingy or a BMW USA mandated UDE event...

It will probably be for the new X5 and the 335s.

So... anybody else go? What was your hot lap time? I managed to at least not embarass myself with a 25.4

This was my first Ultimate Drive; the autocross-for-dummies approach was kind of neat. Could anybody compare it to a CCA driving school?
