Best Headlight Bulb Replacement - Standard Halogens

I have the standard halogens in my 08 328i sedan.

I know I need an halogen H7 bulb but I'd like some recs on what bulbs are good replacements. Looking for something brighter than OEM if I can and I am going to just replace both since one went.

I know Sylvania has the SilverStar Ultra, SilverStar zXe, SilverStar, & XtraVision lines but are they really any better than the OEM bulbs?

Other brand suggestions? Thanks!

Osram Nightbreaker unlimited is a great bulb. Have them on my bike and my old Mercedes 190E 2,3 16V. Brighter and better. Added 10 yards to my lowbeam

Aren't the Osrams halogen? I wasn't even aware that nightbreakers came in D1S.

I know they have the cool blue intense Xenarcs for D1S. I gotta check on this.

+1 for Osram Nightbreakers. I have them in my fog lights and they are easily the brightest halogens available- but that's not saying much LOL...

I have also heard good things about Phillips diamond vision as well, although they're not exactly easy to find sometimes, depending upon the configuration you're looking for.

Osram make the Nighbreaker in Halogen aswell as in Xenon. I had both the original Nightbreaker and the Nightbreaker PLUS in my old BMW E46 with halogen headlights.

Only recently have they also started making the Xenon versin of the nightbreaker.
