iPod for E90 - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Greetings one and all,

I have only just discovered these forums, 3 weeks after picking up our new 323i with sunroof, 18" Ellipsoid wheels etc.

I posted this info on the Bimmerboard.com forums and thought I would also share it here.

I have been investigating the BMW iPod interface option. There is a lot of information about it on the net, but in some places it states it is not available for the E90 3 Series, and it is extremely difficult to obtain details from the BMW dealers in Australia (mainly Brisbane).

I have now been advised by Brisbane BMW that "Currently BMW Aust has not released this product to us just yet, It is currently being trial fitted to a number of cars in melbourne and further details will be being released to Brisbane BMW next week."

Just thought I would post this info for anybody else around these parts who may be looking for it too.

I received a further update onit today from Brisbane BMW, that it is now available for $650 installed.

its out of the country and everything ,diff. rates etc. but thats alot of money holmes!!! too much if u ask me. its a very simple install. once relatively detailed instructions become available to u, i would advise doin it urself! and just have the dealer flash before, and after the install. good luck
