valve cover gasket DIY for '07 E92?

guys and gals,

it looks like my valve cover is leaking (some seepage on the passenger side of the engine and intermittent smoke presumably from oil dripping onto the exhaust manifold).

i'm looking for a DIY for my particular engine (N52K?) to change the valve cover gasket. it's a 2007 328Xi coupe with ~45k miles.

has anyone done this on this particular engine?

i've searched this and other forums but all i can find are other engines/models. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

be careful with Valve cover bolts

If your gasket is leaking I would assume that you may have one or more bolts that have broken---My dealer tells me this is a known issue...I have 116k on my 325I and i noticed a litlle leak at around 100K. If you have little experience and you find a bolt broken it is not a DIY---Find a good Indy to assist

This only applies to the N52. The bolt issue does not apply to the N51 or the N52K used in the OPs car. His issue is just a valve cover gasket.
