Stg1+FMIC Aggressive map as daily

Hello, cobb users, can I run Stg1+FMIC Aggressive for daily driving ? I get great mpg and cars loving the 50 deg weather

OP, make sure you have an upgraded FMIC, upgrade intake (optional), and use 93 octane fuel for the Stage 1+FMIC Aggressive map.

It should be fine, Cobb maps are very good, they run like stock unless you punch it.

I use Stage 2 + aggressive as a daily. Guess it just depends on how you want the car to drive. And access to good gas of course.

I'm using it, it's pretty tame under 3K RPM and then punches you in the face. I'm running a 7" VRSF FMIC. No real downside, and I like the "linear" throttle mapping better than factory. Since I can't often find 91 octane I end up running 93 anyway so there's no real downside for me.

Why wouldn't you? I mean, why would you mod your car, buy the tuner, then not use the appropriate map after the fact. I are confused.

^ Have to agree. Really fun OTS map.

You could also get a custom map dialed in by PTF. They'll make sure your tune runs well with your mods by adjusting it based on how your car reacts to said mods.

I'm actually about to order the VRSF 7" FMIC and when I put it on I'll be daily driving stage 1+ FMIC aggressive. I'm currently daily driving stage 1 aggressive since no FMIC. Anyone that's running stage 1+ aggressive, what was the difference over stage 1? Was it really noticeable or just a little noticeable? Any dyno numbers with this map? Anyone?

I did this as my second mod. I didn't notice too much power but car seemed to be much more consistent in summer months as get soak was no longer an issue. Dp's are a Big Bang for the buck power wise!

Thanks DPs will be last for me as I'm taking the safe route. FMIC to handle heatsoak is next on the list, then after that a chargepipe/BOV upgrade so the factory chargepipe/DVs don't start to leak. THEN it'll be DPs.

I felt the biggest performance jump of any jumps I've done when I went to stage 1+. This includes stage 1+ --> stage 2+ --> PTF 93 tune --> PTF e50 tune.

Good stuff!!! ... I almost escaped a state trooper doing 95 on 65 this morning ... I can swear the throttle was less than the usual at STG1+FMIC DAILY map

IMO the STG1+ maps are easily the best OTS offerings from Cobb. Totally different ballgame from the STG1 or STG2 maps...I really enjoyed them at the time.

Edit: At the same time, try flashing back to STG2+ just for lulz. Then switch back to your E50 protune. Bet you'll notice a big, big butt dyno change. Especially down low, much more responsive and strong.
