I know that we all get 4yrs/50,000 miles free maintenance (for US) on our 3 series car. This free maintenance also covers your wiper blade should it needs replacement. But long after the 4yrs/50,000 miles has expired, you will need to know how to replace the wiper and save yourself some money. ...

Just did the blades on our E91. The black cover for the rear blade stays in place and you just pull the old insert out.

Thank you!
In the immortal words of Dick Clark "This is an oldie but a goodie", big thanks for this DIY.
After wrestling with the wiper blade, to no avail, all it took was a search on this site. Big thanks as I finally got to replace the original wiper blades on my '06 E90. |

Ordered replacements from Amazon. Tirerack sells them too for less, but after UPS 8 day shipping, it was only $1 less than Amazon with my prime 2 day shipping.
For the driver side http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and passenger http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Pretty sure these are the correct ones for an E90 and apparently only E90's and not the other 3 series. And according to the reviews, OEM fit. |
