Named your car?

Do you name your cars? Or refer to them as SHE or HE?

I officially named my 335i Coupe "Blue" since it's blue and I love that scene from Old School w/Will Ferrell where he's all drunk and yelling, "You're my boy Blue!", LMFAO... so I guess that makes it a HIM too.

My last daily driver, '01 Civic, was named "Blacky" (yes it was nighthawk black, I kinda have a color-influenced naming convention going on here) and SHE was a great car, many a good time together!

My '72 Dodge Dart is named "Dog", because when I bought it (11 yrs ago) the "Dodge" emblem on the hood was missing the last "e" so I modded the emblem to say "Dog" instead of "Dodg".

My car is a woman- a really sexy woman haha- and she's named Tess. My cousin named her and I thought it was perfect.

kinda not really... too complicated...

mines "trixie"... always have to name your cars, and anything man-made is considered "female", have to go with the girl theme... and u always want to name your car a name that you most likely won't be dating anytime soon... my motorcycle is "betsy"... i don't know any hot chicks named "betsy"...

I just remember what the owner of a local fish/aquarium store told me, namely that fish seem to die more when you name them.

My Audi is named; my fiancee came up with the name Sophia, and I liked it and it stuck to the point where we refer to the car like a pet or person, almost always by name.

If we find a name we like for the Bimmer, we'll do the same.

Growing up all or most of the cars on TV/Movies were Male (Herbie, KITT, General Lee) so mine have always been male.
Blazer - Goliath
e36 - Phantom (white)
e46 - Slick
e92 - Champ - although he has a female voice (nav). Can Champ be female?

I call my widebody E36 Alice.

I haven't gotten around to finding a name for my other two cars.

If a name I like pops up, I will go with it

Cooper is the name

Mine is named Cooper and the voice in the Nav is Alice. When we picked her up at the Welt my girlfriend was like we have to name the Nav voice. She thought for a minute and said Alice is a good name. I'm like but I have name the car Cooper. The car is one entity, as such can only have one name. She gives me a look like OK, but the Nav is Alice. I drive in silence.
