help please. ABS and traction control systems went out. - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

while driving to work this morning i get three lights come on in my dash. the ABS, the brake, and the yellow triangle light. my ABS isn't working now. my traction control is off and i cant get it to toggle on or off with the button either. to make things worse its raining. anybody ever experience this? maybe a sensor? any input would be appreciated thanks.

There are too many sensors and components in this system. Your best bet is visit the dealer if still under warranty or an independent shopt with the proper diagnostic tool.

turn your left turn signal on and flash your lights three times and then call the dealer to set an appointment. The car will diagnose and fix itself.

Even if someone on this board knew exactly what your problem was were you going to fix it? Or would you just bring it to the dealer?

same thing happened to me, and has happened to a few other people as well. the most common solution for that problem is replacing the steering angle sensor. I havent had a problem since mine was replaced. and yes take it to the dealer cause that sensor is not cheap

Yeah i'm taking it in tomorrow morning. I just thought I'd ask because I was curious to what would cause this.
