Upcomming Dinan parts for the e90

Here is the link.

http://www.dinancars.com/Series.asp?...s=42&Model=100

Question: What exactly does the Throttle Body do?

throttle bodies

throttle bodies open and close when u step on the gas or let off. they let the air into the engine for the intake valves to let into the combustion chamber aka cylinder. in the older e30 M3 it is easy to see them there are 4 throttle bodies each for a cylinder. plus they have tubes going to them from the intake. google search a pic of it. i can't post one that will fit

I believe that the M cars have individual throttle bodies, but I don't thin standard BMWs do- just the one.

I thought that Valvetronic controlled the intake of the engine and that our E90's don't actually use the Throttle body that is there unless there is a problem. Why upgrade the throttle body, then?

I agree, epiphone. I don't see a performance benefit to a slightly larger thottle body.

Yeah, but what about the lowly 325? They're coming out with a tune for that right?

Do you have a number or weblink for "Industry" for the Bastuck exhaust? I've been trying to find a US vendor for a while with no luck. Thanks!
