File this one under interesting BMW marketing. BMW financial in Canada has produced a pamphlet that gives the scent of new car leather. You know that smell that is intoxicating, the one I wish my car would have for the rest of her days. BMW Canada will be distributing these advertising pamplets at Autoshows around the country in 2010.

just as a thought, there was a fragrance for dogs, launched at Saks Fifth Avenue NYC, it was named "Oh My Dog!"....so with that in mind, the "new car scent" should be called "Oh My Ride"? Any other funny thoughts on that?

You can buy a scent for that, but keeping the interior clean and food-free seems to work. People are always telling me my cars smell brand new.

I remember a tire ad in a magazine with a scented pull out, with the smell of burnt rubber. It smelled like the real deal.

sometimes ill find 3 of my friends just poking their heads in my car just to smell the leather. not counting the million other people who go apeshit for the way my car smells. a complex mixture of herb and leather

if this was a product, id buy it. bmw leather is the greatest
