how long can i keep oil - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

well my car has been parked at my parents house for about 5 months and is goin to be there for another 5 till i get back from med school... now when i get back should i change the oil?? its been driven like 700 miles on that oil.
what else should i do?

i think the oil should be fine. if anythong make sure they take it for a drive around the block you dont get flat spots in your tires. atleast once a week

not really because my dads busy all the time and my mom knows nothing about cars, my car is mt so she thinks she needs to drive stick to know how to start the car.

well they could atleast start it up dfor you. if they can't drive it. have maybe ask a neighbor to start it if they dont know how exactly.

if you don't drive it for that long the battery might die
