BMW to make larger 4door Mini

Most already know about the Countryman, but I thought I would post some pics + article about the new Mini slated to boost Mini sales with a 4 door option. Thoughts?

I think it's pretty cool. Still pretty compact but it's keeping the mini look with an extra dose of practicality and 4 wheel drive for winter. I think they have a winner. But is it going to be worth the extra $$$ you'll pay for the mini badge?

I love MINIs. They are tons of fun, especially on the track.

I have always dreamed about my R53 with 4wd and ~300hp. Now it seems that they have the parts to do something like this: JCW 4x4 on a standard MINI Cooper 2d body. I would buy it instantly.

Thumbs down from me for the Mini SUV. Mini should be miniature. Attractive car, but hurts the brand IMO.
