Jlevi SW | StopTech Line of Brake Upgrades (Brake Pads / SS Lines / Rotors)
| 1.888.JLEVISW | JleviSW | Your #1 Source for High-End BMW Enhancements For pricing and ordering information, please visit the links below to our website or contact us directly. StopTech SportStop rotors are a great first upgrade for the original brake systems of cars and trucks. SportStop one-piece direct replacement brake rotors fit stock calipers. The internal vane structure is identical to stock rotors. Quality is assured as the rotors are manufactured to meet or exceed all OE specifications. ![]() ![]() ![]() StopTech stainless steel brake lines improve pedal feel and reduce the amount of time between applied pedal pressure and actual deceleration by preventing expansion, which stock rubber flex lines allow. This provides a quicker pedal response, and allows the driver to maintain consistent brake pressure and precision brake modulation. ![]() StopTech Street Performance brake Pads are engineered to meet the demands of high performance driving while maintaining the refinement and comfort expected in everyday driving conditions. StopTech brake pads combine the benefits of premium street brake pads with aggressive friction formulas suitable for light track day and autocross use. Para-aramid composites are specially formulated to provide linear response at both cold and hot temperatures, delivering optimum stopping performance over a wide range of driving conditions. ![]() Last edited by SV Concepts II; 01-03-2012 at 07:05 PM. |

Please PM me prices on a full setup w/pads and without pads shipped to 01960, including SS lines and drilled-only rotors. 2008 E92 335i coupe.
Also, couple quick questions... Do the SS lines really make a noticeable difference that you can feel in the pedal? How's the bite/pedal feel with this setup compared with OEM? How's the dust compared with OEM? How would you compare these pads with the Cool Carbons that many folks like? Thanks!!! |

To answer your questions. Yes the SS lines do help reduce the amount of "spongy" pedal feel under hard repeated braking. Initial bite is a bit less than stock, but overall brake fade is reduced under repeated braking while maintaining consistent pedal feel. The ST pads dust less than OEM, I'd say about 35-40% less. I can't answer the last question as I haven't had too much experience withe CC pads. |
