I think Silver on SG looks great. Different shades of grey look well when put together. Don't do gunmetal, it's just too much of same shade grey. That's the reason why I quit on silver rims on my Tiag e90 (more like the rims quit on me - damn potholes).
My new set of wheels is going to be gunmetal.

Looking for the e90 with the m6 setup? Here's mine

Honestly I love how the silver matches with the chrome window trim and the gunmetal paint matches with the car itself. I always get compliments on the wheels.. I think I'm the only one with this setup around here

some ppl think it's a "baby m6" lol

Edit: sorry for the dirty wheels/car.. this is the only pic I have so far.

I actually wanted to have the rims/exterior color match, since I'm taking all that chrome trim out and tinting the windows. I want a shadowmobile

The brightest thing on it are gonna be the license plate LED's which are already on there and ridiculously luminous. I can actually see their light when I turn my head to the left to change lanes

So that's how it would look? Looks really nice! I do like how the rims have both gunmetal and silver in them. But I'm taking my window trim off and switching to gloss black, so I wanted gunmetal rims.

Dirty cars ftw. Mine looks no better right now LOL.
