Spark plug change under warranty? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Is it true that it's covered under warranty at 45k miles to get a spark plug change? I know i saw it on a SIB before but the stealership told me its 100k miles?

my dealer told me it goes by whatever my ecu tells and when i replaced my spark plugs at 30k, for some reason remaining mileage for sparkplug service went up so i'm just doing it myself instead of dealing with all this drama at the dealer...

yes, they will replace them under free maintenance at around 45k, mine were replaced at 47k.

mines were never replaced

mine still showed 50k more miles when my warranty ended

well not true in bmw seattle. they refuse to do so. they told me unless i have code for mis-fire, they will not replace it. brought up same old "lifetime" spark plugs thing and i got fed up and decided to order it my own. it's less than $10 per piece at autohous anyways...

the N54 engine is only covered for the 45k mile spark plug change. If you have a 335, it is covered, call oher dealers if yours has the head up their butt.
