The E91 has too much bodywork for white, it looks like an ambulance.

The old 4car website had a full review of the LCI 330d E91 in Bluewater, but the site's closed now.

Still sounds like an aftershave to me, and it's a little bit 'pastel' in shade.

Sorry I'm not helping much..

White looks like an ambulance, black looks like a hearse. Yep, heard those before... funny though.

Seen two bluewater E90's this morning, catches your eye because it's different, but I couldn't live with it. Saw a TiAg pre-LCI M-Sport which looked really good, and a LeMans pre-LCI (17"s though) which looked less good, and a Space Grey E92 SE which looked really good - it is a nice colour...

Arrrrghhh.

Well if i could pick a colour to add to the M Sport range i'd say.....

something darker than the grey but not as dark as black, maybe a very dark blue or a very dark grey, bmw individual midnight blue is a nice colour and if the monaco blue was available in the M Sport then that might be nice too!

TiAg - I would always have gone for that, but on the LCI is looks like they just forgot to paint it. Is it lighter on the LCI?

I keep thinking Space Grey, but worried it's "the same" as sparkling graphite.

Plus, both are basically silver. Still a lot of silver about.

Derby have a Le Mans E91 (pre LCI), looks lovely, although it is spotlessly clean.

Keep switching between Grey or Le Mans. Currently settled on Le Mans.
had car changing head on in past year or so, golf went for 130i le, then got a dog and needed bigger car (and i really wanted a 335i) so got a good deal on an early tourer (56) and here i am!

le mans looks ace polished, however gets dirty quickly, plus along with silver seems to be rep colour of choice.

space grey it is then!

Daym, I didn't realise you'd gone 335i. I did warn you about the saloon... Remapped?

Business must be good, then.

I think Space Grey is the nicest, it really bothers me that it's "the same" as S. At least it'll be sat on 18". Decision made.

Good choice in the end,

I saw a Space Grey 320d E91 this morning, it does look nice and in reality its a lot darker than TiAG.

Search the whole e90 forum - there's a bluewater e91 with saddle brown leather on it which looks really good - helped me make my mind up when I chose bluewater for mine.

Personally I'd want a decent bright metallic red - all BMW colours to be fair are incredibly boring; had sparkling graphite last time and not only was the paint soft but it's a really dull colour - might not show the dirt but doesn't show any form of originality either unfortuantely.

Space grey would look good, Le Mans does too but from recollection shows all the scratches (as in swirl marks) quite readily.

If you can be arsed washing it all the time, white with decent wheels would look ace.....

I think bluewater with saddle brown or oyster is the most stunning combination if you are going to buy a bluewater BMW E90 or E92 M-sport. I have thinking of my upcoming car very strictly. The interior colour is really important and if you think the exterior colours is quite boring with BMW you can always get very nice interior.

My fav combinations are:
1. space gray with rust brown (individual)
2. ruby black (individual) with oyster
3. space gray/alpine white/black sapphire/titanium silver with chestnut

I had a simlar dilemma between Sapphire Black and Le Mans Blue.

Black would have been basically the same as my last car. In the end Le Mans Blue won the day, but only because Black is a difficult colour to look after.

I agree with you that the colour range is now extremely limited.

They are also ALL pretty flat and conservative colours. Even the white, which is why the metallic white on Wafiks car looks so good in comparison.

Now, THAT would be nice.

Speaking to the dealer, the roof bars are changing on March builds. Changed to having no gap, like the A6, apparently. That'll be interesting.

He also said the cigarette lighter is being removed from the extended storage option, which is a bummer.

SG would be my choice - mainly as I have TiAg but would have preferred SG (I bought my car 2nd hand), but its interesting that not many have suggested black. Sure it's hard to keep looking clean, and it can hide the lines of a car, but I've always loved the black cars I've spec'd.

If you are bored of SG (and it sounds like you are), then try black - I think you'll like it, and enjoy owning it, and its usually an easy enough colour to sell - never quite enough around for the people that want them.

Sapphire black + red/brown (was called "Terra" pre LCI) leather. Lovely combination.

Massively biased but it does look classy for the 1 minute it stays clean after washing.

But then you end up with a car almost the same colour as our Jimny...

Yes but it's still similar enough. I wouldn't want my BMW to look like a hairdressers car (that happens to also be about the best snow vehicle this side of a bobsled)...
