Nice - it looks identical to Carbon Black to me - which is no bad thing. Perhaps a tad more blue/lighter.

My last cars have been 4 black, 1 dark blue and one dark grey and I believe they all look dirty really quick and not really any difference between them. My wifes cars have been bright red and greys and they wear dirt so much better.

Next time I will go for a lighter colour but when you come to sign on the dotted line black looks stunning.......

My choice would be Grey Exterior / Black interior or Blue / Black Exterior with a light interior. Colour is very personal and buy the colour that you feel looks good and 'you can see yourself in'.

The latest colour trend seems to be a dark metallic brown so this may come to the 3 series sport next. (Like the colour on the X1)
Thats the thing though unless you have loads of cash or are mad then most will buy a safe colour as you have highlighted. Most people have to and do take into consideration how it will affect the resale value of there car and the ease of said sale.

The latest configurator (3 series) has the option of Havanna and Platinum bronze.
Be interesting to see those in the flesh.

That Havanna may be nice or it may just be metallic poo.

Brown whether metallic or not = no.

That azurite black looks stunning. Sort of black with a tinge of blue?

Business must be good, then.

I think Space Grey is the nicest, it really bothers me that it's "the same" as S. At least it'll be sat on 18". Decision made.
Well, it seems I hadn't made a decision.

I've ordered Alpine White. 18's and sunprotection glass.

It turns out, someone was "fibbing" about depreciation. Turns out depreciation is the same on AW as it is on Metallic colours. So I gave it a big fat "stuff it".

Wondering what roof bars fit the new roof rails, now.

Who said that? A dealer? Wait in about 2-3 years time what they say about white vs metallic! Would still think that silvers, greys and black would appeal to more buyers than white. But, it's your car at the end of the day. Have what you want. And worst case, it might cost you 500-1,000 the other end. Or not.

Moonstone metallic would be my choice!

White is very in fashion now, but SG, space grey etc will always be desirable colours

I didn't think it was so hard to pick a colour until I ordered my E91. Toss up between Bluewater and Space Grey - decided Space Grey, that's until I ordered it and when asked what colour I wanted I said Bluewater without thinking!!

Hope I made the right choice, saw one in Space Grey on Saturday and it did look pretty stunning!! Will find out when it turns up

I keep seeing bluewater's around, mostly saloons and it looks interesting, but still not sure it's a colour I could live with, spesh on an e91. I'm sure it'll be easy to look after, though - like Titanium, but with some actual colour to it.

Only just ordered, so I don't have date from the factory yet. Hopefully the Volcano induced lack of parts won't cause a lasting delay.
