Hi all,

Shiv@vishnu has said that if we get 5 or more people together and rent a dyno, he will come to any location and personally tune the vehicles.

Anyone have any interest of doing this in the spring (there aint no point now with 30 degree weather), plus it will give us time to arrange everything.

If you guys want to do it sooner, thats fine, its just that, i dont think i will be able to drive a 350hp/370tq car anywhere in the midwest winters.

id like to see a few people put the XEDE in before deciding, so I'm in no hurry. Sounds like plenty of folks will get this mod done by this coming Spring. I don't want to be the first one to mess around with the car, not that I don't trust Shiv but...

Not sure about exhaust as well. One thing I do like about this car is that it can be a nice, quiet daily driver when you want it to be. I slapped an exhaust on a previous car and somewhat regretted it in the long run.

Hey - I've had my 335i sedan for 3 weeks, here in Lansing, Michigan.
Read the whole 37 pages of Shiv tuning - and saw the group buy in Spring 07 in Chicago - only a few hours away- count me in.

Keep in mind I have a sedan - so I hope he has the exhaust figured out for that, sounded like all the work was on the coupe so far...

Hi all, just joined the forum and my car is on order. My 335i sedan should be here mid dec. Shiv have inspired me to ordered the bmw. I am currently own an evo tuned by shiv. I will definitely join the dyno day in the spring if shiv get the exhaust ready for the sedan.

ps. As for dyno facilities, look into AMS, chicago performance tuning( they have shiv favorites dyno), porsche exchange, performance autowerks, etc. there are plenty in the area.

Ive been thinking about that aswell, but i might have been confused for the fact that we ARE going to have to pay a premium for shiv to come out here to tune the XEDE, i assume 1 man isnt going to install 6 exahust systems.

We have to get an accurate assement of how much money were going to be paying extra for "tuning services". As for me, im pretty confident that the maps that come preloaded on the XEDE will be fine for me. Unless of course Shiv doesnt have a 93 octane map by spring, then there is no doubt that we will have to have him come out here

From what I've heard about the tuning, it would ba an 8 hour drive onthe way down and about 6 hours on the way back up!

I just got on this thread. I'm in MO, so I'm in for the Xede+Exhuast. My manual sedan with ZSP will be here mid December. Any time after that is fine for the tune.
