2006 Yamaha R6r Raven Edition.

I have a 2006 Yamaha R6r Raven Edition for sale. 8900 miles. It is in MINT condition and it has never been dropped. Very well maintained and definitely babied this thing. Major maintenance up to date. It has no issues whatsoever. Average retail on NADA value puts it at just about 7k average price. I'm asking $6300 obo.

Mods:
Pazzo Levers
Vortex Sprockets (geared for more torque)
Speedo healed to accommodate sprockets
Power Commander 3 w/ custom tune
Jardine GP1 Exhaust
Puig smoked windscreen
Smoked flush side blinkers.
Fender eliminator w/ integrated LED turn signals.
Color matched solo cowl.
Castrol Gold synthetic oil used.

Garage List
Had the same exact bike, out of all the ones I've owned this was the most nimble and best handling.

Price may be a little high, but from a former 06 r6 owner, they hold theyre value really well. And with the rising price of all new 600cc sportbikes, good luck finding any 2006+ used sportbikes in somewhat good shape for less than 5k.

Bikes don't depreciate in value like cars do since they're a luxury item genius... I guess I'll just sell it for 1k then... It does say OBO as well. If you're not interested then just move along. No need for you to be the pompous prick that you're being.

Makes sense. 6k for a 7 year old bike when you can buy the same bike for 2k more brand new.

And How does a r6 hold value? Its entry model pos.

Thanks man. The bike is definitely well kept and maintained. Perhaps it is priced high but I'm open to offers for sure.

LOL what kind of 2013 R6 are you going to buy for 8k??!?!!! A wrecked one maybe. Find me one for 8k. I'll buy it on the spot.

Sounds like you know a lot about motorcycles. So go ahead lets hear you make up all this crap about how you know about them and have a Ducati or something.

You obviously dont know shit about bikes...New r6's from the dealer are over $12k bikes if your even lucky to get msrp...

OP, glws. I think your a little overpriced but not by alot, always need wiggle room. You can easily get 5500-6000 for this bike all day on craigslist.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I'm definitely flexible. I figured that if someone gave an offer it would be somewhere in between there; which I would accept.

From the looking Ive done his price is very fair. Id take it off his hands for $5k but that's because I don't think I need a bike but at that price Id probably do it

Bike is mint and the price is about what it is supposed to be. R6 is at the top of street bikes and it is not an entry model, there is R6S(or SE) which is pretty much previous generation R6 which they continued to make. Don't listen to people who have no idea about the bikes. Good luck with the sale, hopefully you are moving on to something bigger

Great price OP, that sounds about the right price range. The raven edition is awesome. My brother just bought an 09 R6 Raven Edition with 3K miles but had gold rims on it for around $7K.

To Gugs you are a fucking retard, your jealousy is causing hate on the OP's sale thread. I don't know what kind of P.O.S bikes you buy brand new for 8K. Let me guess a Ducati?

I'm going to have to sit this riding season out friend. I'm only selling it because I'm being sent to Germany in August for a few months and won't have anywhere to store it. I normally store it in my parents house but they're moving. I will say that I may give a Ducati a try when I come back if it's in my budget. Probably a 1098. Nothing crazy. If I stay with the Jap bikes it will probably be a 2009-10 R1; Raven Edition of course.

Great deal on your brother's bike! The Raven edition is definitely my favorite color scheme because the matte contrasts so well.

And I will say that I can't stand people that talk about something if they know nothing about it. The same also goes for cocky/arrogant people. Unfortunately he seems to fit both profiles.
