I have been there and seen these things for myself. And ... I actually rather like Belgium. Especially the housing and community aspects. Too many speed cameras though. You are entitled to your opinions on English Law, no matter how wrong they may be, but the good news is that we aren't going to re-write it to suit the EU. We can't because it's built on 1000 years of legal precedent, which happily makes it difficult for any politician to seriously screw it up. It's also one of the reasons why, contrary to popular misconception, the UK actually allows a level of personal freedom which rivals any country in the world. To me that freedom defines Britishness.

Having LIVED & WORKED in both Countries, I defo Know which judicial system I prefer.
Britain's Judicial system Is to old fashioned to exist In a modern day Europe.. |
