Seafoam

Anyone know a good place to get the seafoam treatment done? I dont have any experience with this, so I wouldnt feel to comfortable doing it myself the first time. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

Don't you just buy it at the autoparts store and dump it into a load of gas?

I inquired about this a few months back and the majority of people said to avoid it.I am interested in using it to clean my valves as well but not confident enough to try it myself.

Nando, go to Chevron and buy the Techron stuff. Put it in an almost empty tank and then fill it up. Do 2 treatments if you want. Best and safest way to go

I am having trouble with my injectors..... I scraped the valves clean manually and Im thinking maybe the chunks of carbon fell into and underneath the valves. If I run seafoam through the vac hose and open the throttle to say 4K.... will it help me with the misfires I have in 5th gear at 3-4K? I am not sure what I did to the fuel system. I put some 110 once about 2.5 gals and it turns out that it's leaded gas. Of course it was an accident. I have heard people that put 110 leaded in every time they go to the track and after a few months they have to change their sensors...never their injectors... I am not sure that this is the problem. It seems that the gummiest valves that I scraped seem to also be the injectors that are failing. I was wondering if a good seafoam at the rpms that I usually misfire at will help? Any ideas?
