AT Transmission Cooling for over 450 whp

Lets discuss the future need of inscreased cooling of the AT transmission when we will be starting pushing 450-500 whps.

Do we have in place right now a transmission cooler? If yes where is it located? I tried to look in RealOem with no luck.

See the extended part at the bottom where the transmission would be sitting on if say it was on the floor, that's the transmission cooler.

I'd definitely love to get a high performance radiator and a better transmission cooler. I've been mentioning to every company here and hoping one of them would do it, especially now I've moved to Kuwait and with the 125F weather in the summer my car is going to HATE me.

I'd be very interested in a transmission cooler upgrade. Are we sure that's all the AT needs? Doesn't our ZF unit also have clutch packs or some sort of mechanism that initiates torque converter lock up?

The 335 AT locks up in all gears, once you are moving. Any heat is produced by gear contact friction (drive line friction losses, just like a manual) not by fluid slippage in a torque converter.
Cheers

I'm pretty sure that thing pictured is the exchanger? I have the same picture it and it bolts to the radiator shroud and is shaped like a triangle. Very odd shape and it doesn't even seem to 'go there' imo. But that is the drive side, and its realy only visible if you are under the car. It just dangles there.

Supposedly AR Design. They do have an aluminium radiator available, but no transmission cooler for AT cars.

I have removed the AR Design aluminum radiator again from my car due to leaks, though.

Sir, do you think this would fit our 335I AT cars?
